New OEM Floor Mats Empty
PostSubject: New OEM Floor Mats   New OEM Floor Mats EmptyFri Nov 15, 2013 3:21 pm

I stopped by my local Buick store today and asked if he could check national inventory for floor mats. I asked for tan because that's the color of my interior. Here is the printout he gave me. I already called and ordered the set from the dealer that is crossed off. Looks like these are the last sets of OEM tan floor mats available in the country. Oh, and the set of 4 mats is $70 plus shipping and tax. The dealer didn't charge me shipping so they came to $75 for the set.

Just to clarify, is this inventory for carpet mats? Set (quanity) = 2 front & two rear? Under miles column, miles from your dealer location? What year is your Riv.?

If you are getting a set of 4 new carpet mats you got a great price. Heck, a few months ago ordered from my dealership two new center wheel caps for my 1998 (just to have for spares) and from Buick they cost me about $100 each for those small plastic wheel caps.

Would like to order a new set of gray carpet floor mats for my 1998. Thanks for posting as I am very surprised these might still be in a dealerships inventory.

Yes. 1998 Riv. Four mats... 2 front and 2 rear. Brand new from dealer. Miles from the dealer that searched for me.

Thanks for posting this!

If these will match my '95 interior I might just order a set for spares! Hopefully I can find a dealership to do the same kind of inquiry and find a set of gray ones too?

For that price it would be a good investment for the future ... maybe?

I've bought parts this way in the past for my '69, believe it or not. Had a dealer do a search for driver's side engine mounts and found 2 at 2 different dealers. When each of them arrived they were covered in dust an inch thick. Obviously laying on parts shelves since the early '70s. So don't be afraid to ask the parts counter at your local dealer to do a search. I also bought the last known "Riviera" script hood insulation. It was really expensive, but brand new.

Rivman, you need a '69 to round out your fleet.
