It marches right along for an old girl. I do keep eye'ing those tiny little turbos on ebay though. Got a spare header... and doing a blow through carb turbo kit doesn't look too hard...

Its an brand new (old stock) D&D "showNgo" and carbon fiber can system. Just installed a few days ago. Had a hacked up ZX6r header and Hindle pipe before that. Its a bit more "shouty" than the Hindle, but so far I like it.

Thank you. I've also considered tinting the side marker and the tail light lenses, but still undecided. The theme for the car is black with some visible aluminum in places.

I use an image hosting site. I use postimage.org and then you post the link they supply for forums on here and it should show up. You might want to post your Riv in another section unless it is one you used to own. This thread is for current and past mostly non Riv rides.

Went to the track this weekend......
After a few passes of not trapping 140+ like the fucker should.. Found out I was losing exhaust pressure and this is why my stupid ass basketball sized turbo wasn't spooling Going to weld it up and go back out after installing a 2step to build a little boost while sittin' off the line.

How did you find out the exhaust was the problem? Any other symptoms like sounds or anything? 140+mph trap time is insane. Im still looking forward to the day I break 100mph.

Well the car usually spools faster than it was.. So I checked my hotside of my turbo kit.. and saw black exhaust marks on my radiator.. and concluded that indeed I had a giant hole in my exhaust .. It felt slow as fuck to me too until half track then it actually spooled and moved right on out..

A good weekend for running GTOs on the track! Ran a best laptime of 1:26. This was a driver-limited time (i.e., I am slightly terrified of pushing past 130 mph through the kink at Nelson). Same course, I ran the Riv's best of 1:30. When you consider both cars weigh about the same, and the 150 hp power difference, it speaks wonders for the Riv's handling and performance capabilities.
Somehow I drove to the track, ran a few laps, then back home averaging 17.1 MPG. Not bad at all.
