It's just a K&N panel. They list it as 95-97 actually. All years are the same, so it should fit. Is it worth it? I suppose. You're paying $50 for a K&N. You can go to the local parts store and pay the same. You can also take your OEM filter in with you to make sure the K&N matches it.

Ok sounds good thanks AA, I'll probably go to the local parts store and get one, and make sure I match it right, and by the way, I read your engine rebuild, I would kill to do that to my engine, amazing!

Is it worth it? Personally, I don't feel it is. What are you gaining on the street? You may save some $ over a paper filter if you clean and re-use it long enough. Don't over-oil it though. Too much oil and it can wind up on the MAF sensor and screw things up. I used one for a year or 2 then sold it. Of course I'm an old fart now and the less complicated and time consuming, the better, imho. If you want to mess around with cleaning and oiling, go right ahead.

I haven't read thru this yet, but looks like some good info.

Just read thru it, and I'll stick with my AC Delco filter...

The odds are you won't notice a huge difference going to a K&N panel filter. Maybe a few hp. You will get more HP from gutting the box or installing a CAI or FWI.

I originally had a K&N panel filter and did not truly notice a difference until I went with the 4" aluminum cold air intake. I think the intake air temp is more of a factor to the L67 and m90 over air flow.
