I mean, technically speaking the Riv has similar suspension components to GM's other large FWD cars, so if you really wanted to I'm sure you could. You'd have to fab a thing or two.

But you would totally wreck the ride and what makes the Riv what it is.

If bouncing cars is your thing, well I guess that's your thing. It's not for me, and I don't think it 'fits' the Riv's style, but it's your car.

It would be one of a kind for sure. An important aspect of a hydro car is the over engineered control arms and reinforced subframes that are built to withstand the shock of 3000 plus pounds pounding down on them.I mean, over the top control arm & subframe gusseting and reinforcment! right there you're looking at hundreds of man hours in fabrication alone.Might as well ditch the cool alu control arms front & back. They would need to be replaced with monster one-off tubular steel pieces.
Do your self a favor and pick up a nice ready made Monte Carlo or other and save a mountain of headaches.
Next time you're at a car show, crawl underneath one of those real hydro car and you'll see what I mean.Take some pics & post 'em here
