Part number help Empty
PostSubject: Part number help   Part number help EmptyMon Sep 01, 2014 2:54 am

I have been trying to find a new subframe for my car because im not sure i want to part it out/see it get crushed... the problem is subframe is bent in the right front from hitting a curb trying to duck a huge branch that fell in the road... is it just one peice or are there multiple parts? It was rusting before and im assuming the hit made it give much easier... anyone have a PM for it?
Thanks,
Squirrel

Honestly your best bet is to buy another Rivi. Who knows what else got damaged when you hit that curb. Junker ones can be had for around a grand and that way you get a whole suspension instead of just the subframe. I can look in my service manual later and see if there's a part number.

They are a bit difficult to find because only a few different cars are compatible. I found a decent replacement at a junkyard here in Chicago. I paid $140 for the bare frame . I also purchased a smashed riv for as grand but the frame doesn't work because its a 96
