ABS actively resetting itself while braking (solved:master cylinder seal)

Ha! Love it, vivid use of characters there and very clear to the point. THAT seems to make good sense to me. Alright, looks like my evening shall consist of rebuilding the master then. It's a much better option than death, I'll agree with you on that one.

I wouldn't mess around with that either, could be very dangerous.  www.rockauto.com has a Dorman replacement for 34.00.

Is there a fuse for the ABS?

Yep, a 10 amp in the number three position of the fuse box by the door.

And I'll likely just replace the mc considering the price

Geez, I'm a dope. It's labeled clear as heck. I need to pull tires and check wires and sensors. Scan is inconclusive as to why the light comes on.
