Has anyone swapped GTO brakes onto these cars? I have heard they are really similar to fbody brakes and did see that there was a few write ups on the fbody swap but I have a set of gto brakes off the GTO I parted out so if they can be repurposed im all for that.

I wouldn't even bother trying. The offset of everything is going to be too much to make it work, let alone have the rotors fit. It's not even a GM made car. Bolt sizing and thread patterns are totally different.

Could you do it? I'm sure you could. Anything is possible. Is it worth it compared to the other options? IMO no....

I know the GTO caliper BRACKET will NOT work because the mounting holes are completely different. The caliper itself may fit into the F-body bracket but at that point you might as well go with F-body/C5 calipers.

stumbled on a 00 fbody in the local yard with good tails for my TA and brakes and a plastic tank for my TA winning all the way around
