Lights in door pull handle and in opener itself. Empty
PostSubject: Lights in door pull handle and in opener itself.   Lights in door pull handle and in opener itself. EmptyThu Jan 14, 2016 8:23 pm

There are miniscule slots in the upper end of the pull handles and in the cove above the actual chrome door pull handle. I remember reading somewhere here that they are lights, but have had no luck finding that thread again. I believe it was a posting telling how to actually change the bulbs.

Does anyone know if there are in fact lights in these locations, and if so, what activates them? Are they controllable by a switch or something?

Thanks for any information you might have.

I used these bulbs to fix mine.

They are always on when the headlights are on. I believe you need remove the door panel to replace them. Both were burned out when I got my car, so if they dont light up you might just have to clean the contacts or replace them.

Hey thanks guys. That's exactly the lights I was wondering about. I think I've only driven my car once or twice after dark, so I don't know if they work or not. I'll have to go out and have a look.

I've got probably 8 LEDS with connectors that I took that the last time I went to the junkyard.
We're talking about the little LED clear lights with the green and black wires? The ones that shine through the tiny hole in the inside door handle?
