| Sometimes when we try to close the trunk, it won't latch. She has a short temper, and slams it until it usually closes in defense. The solenoid clicks when you use the push buttons on the car or the remote, but nothing is visible from the latch. Should I be able to see any response from the plunger that goes into the solenoid coil? | |

| Found a new mechanism at Rock Auto, took me all of 15 minutes to replace the actuator, aand I'm a hero,,,,, | |
