| You can repair it with a coupler like in this you tube video, but I would not do it on the car with a heat gun.

There is replacement nylon fuel line to replace the whole section. _________________ 98 Riviera SC3800 All stock except gutted air box. 1970 Buick GS455 Stage1, TSP built 470BBB, 602HP/589TQ Best MPH, 116.06 MPH, Best ET, 11.54 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UHCda-t_Jls https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sfT2tEO4XcU

| Yes Larry is right, there is a nylon replacement that is very easy to use to replace the entire section. i did it on my Riviera a few years ago an it's holding up great.
There are 2 different fuel line sizes on this car as you probably know, so you need to make sure you get the right one of course. It comes with a barbed fitting that you use to connect the old line and new line. You have to heat each end of the nylon lines to be able to slip the barbed fitting into each end. When it cools, it self-seals and does wonderfully. | |

| Andrew did not mention that the nylon repair/replacement kit is easy to get. Just telephone your nearby auto parts stores and ask if they carry repair kits for nylon fuel lines. The CarQuest and NAPA stores come to mind, however just about all of them carry the ktis or know where to send you to get one.
Just to take the mystery out of this thing, have a look at this: http://www.rockauto.com/en/tools/fuel/air,fuel+line,fuel+line+nylon+repair,1001129

What part are you trying to remove? The end with the connector or the end that attaches to the metal tube? _________________ 1998 Supercharged Riviera - Custom CAI, Alpine spx-13ref, Infinity 6x9's, Alpine 4 Channel Amp, Kicker KX3, Silverstars, STB, Hawk Brake Pads, Monroe Air Shocks, KYB GR2

| You will probably have to take a razor blade and carefully cut it off. Cut it length wise until you just make it through the nylon hose. If your kit came with a barbed fitting you could cut the nylon hose on the car just before the leak and then use the barbed fitting to connect the new piece to the old line.
Make sure you have the fuel rail depressurized, that you work on a cold engine and that you have all the parts you need before you proceed. Be ready for some fuel to leak out. _________________ 1998 Supercharged Riviera - Custom CAI, Alpine spx-13ref, Infinity 6x9's, Alpine 4 Channel Amp, Kicker KX3, Silverstars, STB, Hawk Brake Pads, Monroe Air Shocks, KYB GR2

| You can also get a brass 3/8" nylon to nylon union at NAPA or any parts store I imagine.Just cut the bad section out and connect the two pieces with the union. | |
