Anyone have any idea where I can get one of these?  GM part #25649592.  Includes pop up spring assembly.

Thanks,

That would be great, Lance! Let me know, & I'll PayPal what you need. I have Morad sending me one, but I could use a spare; I have 3 '95's.

Thanks,
Terry

dont know what i was thinking.
i very well knew my 95 riv was rear-ended which sprung the trunk-lid.
it never shut again.
the hold-down is sprung .25" sideways,
the piece is not useable .and. it is not worth the postage.

If you can get it, I'd still pay for it & the postage. All I really need is the shaft, which goes into the spring, with the rubber on the end.

Thanks,
Terry

Hey there, not sure if you're still looking for this but I have a '97 that I'm removing parts from to another '97. If I can get it out you can have it if you're still looking that is.

While we're at it, I'm looking for information on how to remove the trunk lid without messing up the wiring. Does anyone know if the wire has a disconnect somewhere that doesn't require cutting?

If the stainless wheel arches on the 97 you are scrapping are available PM me.

The silver metal band with thin black rubber strip that covers the lip of each wheel opening.

Ah okay. I will take a pic of them and DM you. Should be relatively soon; depends on if I love going to work early in the morning. In the meantime, do you have an idea on how to disconnect the trunk wiring for a lid swap?

Trace the wires from the trunk lid backward to find the connector, I think it is under the package shelf. The connector for the CHMSL is behind the rear seat on the passenger side of the car. Not sure if there is a 'master' connect point for the tail lights and the antenna.
