So my second Buick killed itself a while back. RIP 😷
if you're wondering if I wrecked again I didn't lol. The engine was having like 5 messed up sensors (off the top of my head: TPS sensor, camshaft position sensor, air intake temp sensor, MAF sensor and some other circuit thing) was also missing vacuum lines which I replaced with the wrong tubing and then the line ended up melting unbeknownst to me, forced the stupid vacuum controlled 4t60e transaxle to shift out of OD into neutral at 30mph and it revved to about 3000 rpm when I was like Wtf, then shifted back into first and shredded apart the transmission at instant peak torque pretty much.
So it's scrap metal now and I'm getting a blazer soon.
Question is: if anyone remembers me here.. You all know I love my sound system and subwoofage. The crappy blazer alternator is too garbage to hold up and I don't wanna spend hours of research looking up the perfect alternator and scrounging junkyards nonstop for a known good one for like a hundred bucks to find this mythical AD244 copper studded rectifier thingy or what vehicles have them
So I wanna know:
Is it possible and how hard would it be to retrofit the alt off my broken 96 supercharged Riv to fit the blazer 4.3 liter vortec engine?
My two alpine 12" type R's in the 4 cu ft sealed box from sound ordinance powered by a sicknasty 3000 watt Soundstream t.a. 3000D once set off a car alarm in Michigan. I want my blazer to handle that many amps too 😡
