| Definitely interested in hearing about what you come up with.
This is a future goal of mine so long as they don't get too hot and melt the assembly. | |

| DDM tends to take a while to get stuff over from chine. They have stuff on amazon but cost a few $ more than their website and i wasnt in any hurry. They arrive today and I hope to install saturday. Will add some before/after pics. _________________ 1996 with 254k miles, L32 4" FWI -> ported N* -> Ported Gen V w/3.0" Pulley, Stage 3 Phenolic I/C, ZZP FMHE, 1.84 RR, Headers and 3" pipe to mufflers, F-body brakes, and lowered on Eibachs. -RIP AMG C400 White on black. | I do kinda wonder how old-school US DOT-style assemblies perform with LEDs. Projectors with LEDs are great, usually. | |

| Got them installed. Love them, and it's extremely hard to take a picture that shows how bright they are. Pros: Easy install, instant on brightness, color is perfect white, brightest light I have ever had(oem, silversrar, hid 50w all don't put out like these do) Cons: They do have the same bright spot as the HIDs did, didn't really expect otherwise. Pic shows dying HID on right and good 50w 6500k HID on left. Second pic is same on left and new 55w 6000k LED on right. _________________ 1996 with 254k miles, L32 4" FWI -> ported N* -> Ported Gen V w/3.0" Pulley, Stage 3 Phenolic I/C, ZZP FMHE, 1.84 RR, Headers and 3" pipe to mufflers, F-body brakes, and lowered on Eibachs. -RIP AMG C400 White on black. | Again the camera keeps auto adjusting the color and brightness. I'll try to get one at night. LED is brighter and more pure white than the HID. _________________ 1996 with 254k miles, L32 4" FWI -> ported N* -> Ported Gen V w/3.0" Pulley, Stage 3 Phenolic I/C, ZZP FMHE, 1.84 RR, Headers and 3" pipe to mufflers, F-body brakes, and lowered on Eibachs. -RIP AMG C400 White on black. | Would LED's low power consumption will affect the alternator's output? They look nice. | |

| Wouldn't expect any change in how the alternator or battery operated. One more thing to note, the HID ballasts made a buzz noise when running the LED makes a hum bc of small fans at the back of each bulb. Only notice it with the hood up and the car off but lights on. _________________ 1996 with 254k miles, L32 4" FWI -> ported N* -> Ported Gen V w/3.0" Pulley, Stage 3 Phenolic I/C, ZZP FMHE, 1.84 RR, Headers and 3" pipe to mufflers, F-body brakes, and lowered on Eibachs. -RIP AMG C400 White on black. | I actually did wonder about that. Any thoughts on putting on fog lamps at all? | |

| Im not a fan of fog lights and i wouldnt want to block my I/C with them. If you drive in a lot of foggy areas, bright pure white LED/HID lights may not be the way to go for you. There is a reason fogs are yellow in color. I do still have halogens (silverstars) in for high beams just in case something fails or there is fog on a back road. Most of my driving is around areas full of retirees and tourist. I want ppl to see me coming, even in the daytime. _________________ 1996 with 254k miles, L32 4" FWI -> ported N* -> Ported Gen V w/3.0" Pulley, Stage 3 Phenolic I/C, ZZP FMHE, 1.84 RR, Headers and 3" pipe to mufflers, F-body brakes, and lowered on Eibachs. -RIP AMG C400 White on black. | I actually got a set for the new riv. I don't know if it's because my old HID's are worn out or the lenses being foggy is hurting light but the LED's look brighter than the 55w HIDs on the old riv | |

| Good upgrade you got there. I'm planning to convert to LED headlights and I'm currently browsing for one. | |

| The ones I got were Lightning Dark V28-9006. The heatsinks baaarely fit through the opening behind the headlight assembly. The beam does glare a little bit but they are really good! It seemed like they would have the best chance out of all the untested products to not glare which was my main concern but they still do. | |
