| Any performance mods? Was it hot and humid at the track? Mid-summer heat will certainly slow you down. | |

80deg, not too humid, zero traction in the dig and i pretty much dont have any MAF or cam sensor at the moment. mods are basically just a FWI and 3.4" blower pulley i was hoping for like a 15 but after i fix it, and run some more, i should be there and better i think

| wait till it gets colder out. do you have any KR with the 3.4"? better launches and 50* outside and you will be 15 flat or better. ;)
oh and why would you even race a vette??? you would have had a better chance against the white mach 1. who ran the 10sec 1/4 in the first slip? _________________ 1996 with 254k miles, L32 4" FWI -> ported N* -> Ported Gen V w/3.0" Pulley, Stage 3 Phenolic I/C, ZZP FMHE, 1.84 RR, Headers and 3" pipe to mufflers, F-body brakes, and lowered on Eibachs. -RIP AMG C400 White on black. | Its really hard to get a reletivly stock Riv out of the 15's without performance enhancers. Suspension will only help the 4000lb car so much.

| 1. Fix the MAF and Cam sensors . 2. Please scan the car, the pulley may be doing more harm then good 3. What plugs and Gap are you running? 4. Run the car again and get some times | |

Could be, but the slips point to driver more than car. Agree with Jason... his times are proportional to his 0-60 fts. Fix the launches and he's near a 15.1-15.2 sec 1/4.
In cold weather, with a launch in the 2.5-2.8 sec range, my car runs high 14s. _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^

| i concur my launches sucked. tires spinning out of control. last run, i put the front tires at 25psi and left t/c on and still spun but i'm pushin it too hard. I kind of brake torque it to speed up the torque conv. (and also because closed throttle to open throttle with out a MAF sensor is doesnt usually work well) | |

| To be fair, the track's condition plays a big part. If it's not sticky, can make the driver look bad. Best advice I can give is to "squeeze" the throttle from a certain RPM using the torque-brake method, which you were. Ease into WOT gradually, barely slipping the whole way. Takes practice!

yea i should have figured that out yesterday. next time will be better! plus i really dont think the track was in too great of condition seeing as my tires spun more on it than on the street and my buddy was only getting low 15s out of his malibu. his brother litterally ran the engine thats in his malibu in his much heavier olds delta and got 14s
