We're doing a fuel tank replacement (rusted pump lock ring) on a 1998 Riviera and looking for rear Control Arm Bolts GM 25604378 which is apparently a VERY popular part, but GM has "Discontinued". Any one happen to know the replacement part # or specs on this bolt and nut? Many thanks in advance!

Is there anything preventing you from measuring your old bolt and just picking one up at a hardware store? I would use a Grade 8 bolt and nut.

They use the riv lower arm on a couple different models, the hardware will be the same or very similar, the junkyard is your friend here.

Some dealer parts counter people know how to pull the specs for the bolts, wither by using an old fiche and reading the part description (the specs are in the descriptions but its not so obvious b/c they are abbreviated) or looking in the "out of fiche calls" section, where most of the common hardware was listed for the respective GM models. At my dealer, specs for much of the common hardware items are in the computerized parts system *but* apparently there is some trick to how you find the info. Abaddon might know. I do not.
