I used Torque Lite and an ELM 327-based Bluetooth dongle, on my smart phone. TorquePro is free. GooglePlay.

search in Amazon on "obdii elm327 wifi" and in the app store or google play find "torque lite" - if all you're doing is reading codes and streaming live data you can try Torque Lite; Torque Pro is an upgrade to Lite, but I never really had to. Pro Tip: get a *good* OBD II-ELM 327-WiFi dongle, NOT the cheapest one (and not necessarily the most expensive one either). Read the reviews before you buy.
