I went to look today at a 95 S/C with 77k that has sat for 5 years. It recently has a new fuel pump module, new battery, new starter, alternator and valve cover gaskets. I am not sure what if any was needed but the family of the senior mother paid to get the car started. Exterior and interior were excellent. Car ran very nice and it is a one owner car with original window sticker
Air conditioning blows warm they said repair people told them it need a evacuation and recharge. Traction control light stays on and the tires are Michelin with good tread but hard and old.
I think 4k could buy this car but the TC and AC and tires are making me nervous.

My AC wasn't working either, but I just bought a $20 can of R134 mixed with a leak sealant, and it's been good for months. Haven't fixed the TC light yet.

AC seals dry when not used and the refrigerant leaks down. After enough has escaped the compressor won't energize.
What you probably want is an evacuation and recharge by a mechanic or AC shop that will also replace all the system seals (primarily o-rings) while the system is evacuated.
As for thetires, just replace them.

So I bought it for $3500, drove it home in 100 degree weather. It ran very good, the tires seemed better so I will keep them. Interesting that the car says near the cap that regular gas is ok but premium preferred. I will get the AC done and car should be good.

those tires will rudely surprise you by flattening without warning or apparent cause
