Ordered Eurolamps May 28th. Have yet to see the box come in and was never issued a tracking #. I got high... and lows.

Update on my EuroLamps (aka EuroLights): I installed EuroLamp high beam (9005) headlights in my Riv prior to Jan 20, 2010 - not sure exactly when, but probably some some time in mid 2009. Well, one of the bulbs just burned out over 4 years and 50k miles later.

These are awesome headlights, ppl... I would buy them over SilverStars any day.

I've had good luck with my Eurolamps, and still use them for the high beams, but now use Phillips X-treme power for the lows. After completing the lows + high beam on together mod, I was concerned about pulling too much current with the factory wiring.

Yeah, that's understandable. In 2011, both of my low-beam stock sockets melted enough to compromise connectivity after having used the EuroLamps for about 2.5 years up to that point.

Bmcd, you might find that you run into problems with that headlight design because the socket does not drop down at a 90 degree angle. This could be a problem with one of the lights (can't remember if it's the high or low beam - I think it's the low) and the air box on the driver side. I had headlights with a straight-through socket design; the issue was that the air box crimped the wires plugged into the driver side light because it was pressing right up against them, eventually causing one of the wires to almost totally fray. Of course my air box wasn't being held down with any screws at that time  rolleyes

You might want to think of bulbs with this sort of socket design as opposed to the straight-through design those Plasmaglows seem to have: Bulb pic

It's official. SilverStars actually do suck as much as we thought:

Got my $11.70 settlement check today.

That's actually a decent settlement amount for how many people used those lights. Well, now it's official!

$30 million+ from what I can tell. Sylvania still denies any wrongdoing.

Hah, I got one last week too. Yup. Too bad, but they really suck.

I wonder how they knew where to find me?
