PostSubject: Hi   Hi EmptyWed Nov 28, 2007 5:42 am

Hi, my name is Bill and yes....I'm new to the site. I was told about your forum by a friend and hope to contribute.

I have a uh.. non Riv. help Hope that's ok as I did help that buddy get his first one.

Recently I tossed a Mezier electric water pump onto the Bonneville and so far it's working like a charm. Took a little research and work..but all accessories were retained and work well or better than before.

Welcome aboard, Bill! We don't discriminate here, much. smile What year is your Bonne, post up a pic. I think we have a member running an electric pump on his 97 Riv, but it was a real PITA to swap, IIRC.

Cool on the slight descrimination joy lol

Here's one of the nice distance pics that makes it look like it has good paint and is clean. Both of which are usually not true, I'm usually busy cruising.

Hi P1010724

Here's the (cough cough) mostly stock engine bay before the Mezier.
Hi IMG_1769

I've had to research and solve a few problems to get the Gen V and Mezier in the bay. It's wasn't overly difficult..took a little ingenuity though.

PS.. Those are some great smily's!

Oh ya sure, that's a stock pulley and exhaust, and intake.... So, you actually have room for a battery under the hood? scratch

Tons of room under the hood. I don't even have to crawl on top of my engine to change rear plugs.

When I post this one..the new siggy w/mod list should show.

EDIT: Crap.. off to edit settings for siggy. (there's a gen V sitting in that pic ...maybe it's not quite stock?) joker

Were you the one who did the write-up on how to install the GV and what was need to be done as far as grinding to alt for clearance? I ran across the post when somebody sent it to me on one of the threads here but I am not sure where it came from initially.

I like the black on black look by the way! What size pully are you running?

Not sure if it's the one you saw, I did remove a bit of material from the alternator and posted on another forum about it. There was a paper thin space between the two after the alternator was worked over.

Currently running a 3.2" pulley.
