i just installed an all sony system in my riv..
but the remote wire on the radio doesnt seem to work with the remote wire on the amp!!

any ideas on where i can run the amp remote wire to that will turn off and on with the key!!!

Got a great deal and sounds awsome... but its killing me to keep the back seat out ... and i dont want to run a toggle switch!!

Hello Zack. I'll assume you're using the stock head. Look in the passenger side of the trunk, behind the carpet. The power antenna is in there, and has a few wires leading to it. One is orange, one is green, and maybe a couple others. Take the green one and send it to the remote + terminal of your amp. The amp will turn on whenever you turn on the radio.

If you are using an aftermarket head, it should have a blue wire marked "REM" or "REMOTE". Feed this to the remote + terminal of the amp. If it doesn't work, your head has a blown fuse on the REM lead, or it's not working correctly. Good luck.
