I got this today from Deekster Caddy - Thanks again!
I've cleaned it up a bit and I'm wondering if It would be beneficial in any way to put a few coats of 1500deg ceramic embedded paint out of a rattle can..
I already have that stuff at home and this things not goin on till spring so it's hardly a bother but if it's straight up pointless..

If you have the surfaces cleaned as specified on the paint can, and use a good paint, it can't hurt to spray it, and it will look better longer. I've read good things about VHT brand hi-temp paint, rated at higher temps than most stuff you find in a parts store.

I'd paint it if it were me. Otherwise it will rust quickly.

WOW you cleaned it up very much! Looks great! I would put a couple thin coats of VHT hi temp clear on it.
