In the dead of winter everything looks bad. Well from my home office I have a straight on view of my Riv's front. It might only be the light but that lower lip thing is kinda ugly, I'm having second thought on painting it. Right now it's stock grey and you can see all the components behind it as clear as day, the radiator and etc.

Next time your washing your car and your cleaning the grill look at what I'm talking about. Other than looking at it from grill view, the car looks great.

Still, it the lower part was painted it would take attention away from the components.

you mean the lower spoiler lip? i like it grey/black then you DON'T see it and your eyes are not drawn to the radiator and temp sensor back there. and andy, i dont think painting it green is going to help hide whats behind it. just my personal opinion.
and has anyone else noticed that there is a part of the front bumper that sags?
there are 2 parts that are higher than the middle, where the plastic part bolts to the frame. very old pic, but the only one that clearly shows what im taking about.

It isn't sagging, it's molded that way. All Rivs look this way. I agree that keeping the moulding grey is the way to go.

nah, the lower spoiler is cool, I guess it's just mine, when they painted it I think it got on some of those parts, I'll have to gab a pic or two

oh wait duh, look at my sig, you see in the grill, they're something there. And beyond the lower spoilers the same deal

Maybe they took "artistic license"? :suspect:

Here's what happens when you give me artistic license:

Sorry, I saw a hint of Trogdor in the face of your Riv, so had to "improve on your methods". (if you don't know what I'm talking about, click: http://www.homestarrunner.com/sbemail58.html)
