This site seems pretty informative. I recently became the owner of a 1996 SC that my father bought new. He bought a new Buick and needed to part with the Riv. I have always liked the car so rather than seeing it go he gave it to me. I have always been a fan of Buick. My wife and I also have a 2005 Lacrosse that we bought new, I wish I had one of those new Lacrosse super models with the small block v-8. It all started with my first car, a 1980 Regal. When I was in high school it was popular to have Monte carlos and Cutlasses. I sided with the Regal because I thought it had just as good performance with a little more class.

Welcome to the board. I've always thought that Buicks had more class than the norm as well. My first car was a 93 lesabre.

Nice job on getting the Riv. As you'll notice, there are a lot of Riviera styling cues on the LaCrosse, and going down the road you won't know the difference at a distance except for the chrome grille.

Welcome! Don't forget the GSCA slogan, going fast with class!

You've got it right with the Riv, lots of fun to be had, and some class too! Well, some of us have some class... wink

Greetings, your dad must be a great guy to give you a car like that, not to mention the fact that he likes Buicks too.

Welcome aboard.

Ahem. I have to dissagree that the regal had more class than the cutlass , we used to have an 85 regal when i was younger and my last car was an 1987 cutlass salon...I get very defensive of the cutlass...lol welcome aboard!
