im stuck, i know a guy thats selling 2 15" alpine type Rs for 300 or 2 15" kicker L7s for 400 with a box. i know the kickers punch. but im not sure whats going to be better, only one sub its going in the riv, the other is going in the mitsubitchy

I have a Kicker L7 made around 2001, and this thing is nasty for an 8". They probably have gotten even better since then, but mine is still pounding, and I like the looks of the older ones more.

I've heard the Alpine Rs are good, but I've always thought of Alpine as a head unit company, not a woofer manufacturer. You can bet that Alpine doesn't have anything to do with the design or production of their subs. This doesn't mean they are bad, just something to consider.

i have heard a 15 inch L7 and OMG if money is NOOOOOOOOO issue i'd definitely pic that setup!!!!!!!!!! but for me since im a teen and gonna have to pay for college rolleyes dreams for ME!!!!
