| Hello to everybody using this forum. I am sooo excited that I came across this site!!! I have been looking for a forum like this for some time now. In my opinion the Buick Riviera in general, pretty much all years, is my personal favorite car of all time!! My name is Andrew and I am the proud owner of a 1995 Buick Riviera. My Riviera came equipped for the times of high gas with no s.c.!!! I was wanting to pass up this steal of a deal when I saw it had no s.c., but couldnt pass her up. She came with no heated seats, no sunroof and no s.c., but pretty much everything else, i believe? The best part and probably the reason i decided to choose her was because of the incredibly low mileage! It was the classic story, "babied her whole life, very rarely driven by an old lady until she passed." Then her husband sold her to me. So anywho... She is a silver/blue outside, deep blue leather 95 Rivi with buckets/cosole, pwr everything, etc. For myself, this would be a loaded car. She feels bout as good as a Caddy drivin down the road and super performance as well, even without the s.c. Oh yeah, and I just broke 46,000 miles!!
Please anyone help me with performance add-ons! I know, i should just throw a s.c. on her, but what are some other options for increasing HP that are easy and not too expensive?
Once again, thanks to whomever created this site!!!

| welcome you could always build an intake for it, and maybe some exhaust mods. i dont know what all will fit, but i think headers would leave you with no low end torque, so maybe cat back is the way to go on the N/A rivs. of course you could get a m62 blower pretty cheap, but i dont know what all would be involved to install/tune it on the 95. _________________ 1996 with 254k miles, L32 4" FWI -> ported N* -> Ported Gen V w/3.0" Pulley, Stage 3 Phenolic I/C, ZZP FMHE, 1.84 RR, Headers and 3" pipe to mufflers, F-body brakes, and lowered on Eibachs. -RIP AMG C400 White on black. | the 95 had the series II N/A... so the m62 isnt an option without more intricate modifications. But I'd say build an intake , catback exhaust and www.zzperfomance.com makes an insert that adds about. Those three should net you probably 15-20hp or so. | |

| Wow, a lot of people have the Light Adriatic Blue Metallic exterior with the dark jade leather interior. Same car that I have, except it's supercharged with the sunroof and heated seat and stuff.
The '95 N/A is a Series II, right? You should be able to find plenty of help with those engines here. The supercharged one would be a Series I.

| Welcome, Andrew. I think roller rockers would be a good mod for a N/A 3800. In addition, a cold air intake system (you will need to make it yourself). I think you could pick up at 20 HP with those mods, maybe more.
The picture in your avatar looks great. I'd like to see the full-size version. Post in the Showroom, thanks!

| You could possibly put an m90 on there later on , but youd most likelty have to switch to a 96 pcm and get a DHP tuner... but its possible.
And welcome aboard! forgot to say that in the first post. How rude of me.

| he could add the m90, but dont forget he has higher compression than us, so tunning is a must, and you probably couldn't go much smaller than the stock 3.8" pulley. so he has the same engine as the GT grandprix's right? _________________ 1996 with 254k miles, L32 4" FWI -> ported N* -> Ported Gen V w/3.0" Pulley, Stage 3 Phenolic I/C, ZZP FMHE, 1.84 RR, Headers and 3" pipe to mufflers, F-body brakes, and lowered on Eibachs. -RIP AMG C400 White on black. That is true, they used the Series II in the N/A '95's with 205 HP, I N/A was just saying the Series I was rated at a lower HP. | |
