LS1M Question Empty
PostSubject: LS1M Question   LS1M Question EmptySat Apr 12, 2008 11:35 pm

I bought an LS1M with a palm before I blew my engine. Well, obviously I didn't really need it throughout that period, so I let my friend borrow it to use on his GTP. I called him tonight and he said that he gave me the Palm back when somebody broke into his car. I'm not calling him a liar, because it is completely possible he did. He still has the cables, but not the Palm. In all the moving that I've done in the past 2 years, I think I lost it. I can find a Palm on Ebay for pretty cheap, that's not what I'm worried about. My question is, now that Mark has gone out of business and his site is still up, is it possible to grab the software off the site and load it onto the Palm? Essentially the program being free? This would be a very cost-effective way for me to get a scanner. Any ideas?

I believe you can still download the software. If it doesn't work, I could probably send you my cd to load it up.

I just downloaded the Palm Desktop and Synchronizer to my laptop with no issues. The LS1M software should work also.

I was just making sure that I wasn't stealing in some way. Not that it would deter me from it anyway. So, I can use my girlfriend's laptop? You got links?

Well, you've got the LS1M cables, a laptop, the software link. You just need the Palm, right? I don't see any problem. The link is a couple posts up.

I have a nice used Palm Tunsten T I'd sell you for a good price. Haven't used it in a while, so need to test the battery; let me know.

Did you ever get your cables back?

I had an interesting IAT reading today on my LS1M. Had temps around 93 or so, ambient was 90 deg hwy cruising. 2 or 3 times the IAT reading would change to like 338 or 339 deg F and stay there! If I hit the Reset function, it would reset to the right 93-ish temp reading. Anyone see this on their LS1M before? BTW, I spiked around 8deg of KR at heavy throttle...
