I have a 1991 Buick Riviera. Yes, I know I don't have the nicer 9th Gen ones. I mostly joined because I want learn more about these cars and maybe share a few things. I want to tune my Riv' up to get some more horses out of it. And also for a support group to query against if anything goes wrong.

Anyway, here is my Riv'

:verymad: Absolutely not! You're not wanted here... please leave! :verymad:

(just kidding...)

Thanks for joining up. You've come to the right place. We'd like to learn more about your Riv, too. 8th gens are really cool cars, so I wouldn't say our 9th gens are nicer, they're just different, newer, and definitely faster.

Please share anything you want to about your car. A lot of our discussions apply to more than 9th gen Rivieras; sometimes the topic just covers cars in general. If there's something specific to your vehicle, here's a section just for you!

Welcome aboard, and btw, I heart Macs as well!

no fear that you have one of the rare 8th gens. Many of us 9th gen owners have progressed here naturally from previous buick experiences. I had an '86 Riv, '94 Regal, my mom's '86 Century, '98 Park Ave... lots of buick fixing knowledge here.

Oh, and I have a '73 LeSabre awaiting some TLC time...

My '92 is pretty much retired at 215,600 miles. It will still get 28 mpg hwy and only uses 1/2 qt of oil in 3,000 miles, but looks terrible. I am planning on using the sunroof out of it to modify/modernize my '65, when I get the time.
