ok, I dont know much about modding throttle bodies, but was looking at the following:

http://www.zzperformance.com/grand_prix/products1.php?id=646&catid=113

or

http://www.wbodystore.com/grandprix/75mm-throttle-body-kit-p-34.html

My ported SC has a ported inlet of 75.5mm according to the WBS website. Would there be any point in going larger than 75mm on the throttle body?
And which one would you recommend? I see the northstar, LS1, etc. And is this mod even necessary at this time (or would I have to scan my MAF's first)?

You may benefit from it if your are able to outflow your stock TB. On any of the ported , N* or LS1 TB's you would want to tune for the change in airflow. Even the stock ported should be tweaked for the additional air and then retune the entire car. This is know as Deekster Style tuning. One day he will hopefully have time to look over my tune and or give me more pointers.

Overall though, if you ever plan to go to a Gen V SC, I would go LS1 or N* being that they are the two most common swaps for that charger. Why spend twice. many of us learned that lesson over and over.

I dont plan on going Gen V. I plan on upgrading the motor over time and running higher compression with the gen 3. If I upgraded blowers, it would be to a whipple or something.

The following comes with the upgraded MAF included (85mm Corvette LS6 Mass Air Flow) but for a heafty price:

The zzp one comes with a LQ4 MAF sensor. Is that similar to the 85mm one above? Its like half the price of the other one so Im guessing its not as good?

You can find LQ4 maf sensors for about $36 on ebay from time to time.

I don't think there's much difference in the mafs. Certainly not enough for the cost.

yea, but with the GM one I could say I got a MAF from a vette on my car rolleyes

if the riv's stock MAF "maxes" at 11,500hrz - what does the LQ4 and LS6 MAF's max out at?)
And if my intakes on the SC is 75.5mm, is there any advantage to have a throttle body larger than 75mm?

The LQ4 is a GM maf, it's found on things like the 6.0L motor. bow
