| My daily driver(95 Park Avenue) has a slight surge when accelerating. Just wondering if anyone had an idea what would cause that? The surge is hard to describe and you can just barely feel it. Its like you are feathering the throttle. The Tach wiggles just a fuzz when it is happening. The gas mileage seems to be fine and the car runs fine except for the surge. It has 83,000 miles. Thanks Bert | |

| after eliminating the basics like wires, plugs and coils I would suspect a dirty or failing EGR. Pull it out and clean it.
While you have the cleaner out, you may also want to clean the IAC valve. Don't press on the pintle and do the appropriate IAC reset procedure for your car (don't know what it is on the 3800 Series 1)

I have tried getting it scanned at Autozone before but the scanner was not compatible. Bert
