i just bought a 95 riviera and i found the original sales ticket in the glove-box, and it has the 3800 series II v6 listed as standard equipment. is it correct ?

Yes, the Series II naturally aspirated engine was standard through '97. The Series I supercharged was optional for '95; the Series II supercharged was an option for '96-97. '98-99 offered the Series II supercharged as standard equipment.

If your engine bay looks like this Look at pic 11 and 12 then you have the supercharged version.
