| Hi, I just purchased a black 98 Riv. It has a tan interior with the wood grain dash kit installed. It has 87k miles. I'm pretty happy with it. It has absolutely no mechanical or electronic issues. Everthing works. The only thing is the paint is a little faded in a few places. I going to try to buff it back to a good appearance. Also, I don't like the wood grain color. It's light brownish. I'd prefer a richer, darker shade. Not sure what would look best with the tan interior or if it is possible to pry off the existing dash kit. The engine is completely stock. I may do some modest mods to boost power.
I'm looking forward to participating on this board.

| Hey Stevo, welcome! I think the dark wood grain would look great with the tan. It's going to be a PITA to get the old one off though. It may not be worth the trouble. You may end up destroying more than what you think. There are some threads in here somewhere about that topic. Again, welcome. | |
