| Lately i've been noticing some harsher up shifts in the first 2 gear changes in normal driving. They only occur when the car shifts itself. But they are not jerky when i let off the gas slighty to shift up and lower the revs. Any ideas? | |

| What year is your car? As 95-96 had a different transmission than the 97-99s. It would be helpful to include the year of your car in your sig. | |

| Check vacuum lines for cracks/leaks. The trans uses vacuum to shift, especially in the '96 year. _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^ | |

| check the lines, and you may want to replace the shift modulator. it's only like $12 from AZ. how is the fluid level too? (be sure to check it when warmed up, on flat surface, and with the car running) also what color is it? _________________ 1996 with 254k miles, L32 4" FWI -> ported N* -> Ported Gen V w/3.0" Pulley, Stage 3 Phenolic I/C, ZZP FMHE, 1.84 RR, Headers and 3" pipe to mufflers, F-body brakes, and lowered on Eibachs. -RIP AMG C400 White on black. | When was last time fluid was flushed/changed?
It also may be the 'gummy valve body' problem. I have not had to do this but I understand they are not that expenseve and can be R&R w/o putting the car on jack or lift.
Good luck.
