need some help plz

I am recently paralyzed and now i am trying to get driving again. I baught some hand controls. But now I have a 1995 buick Riviera supercharged and I am trying to figure out how to take the bottom part of the dash apart... The part below the steering wheel I got everything loose but it just wont come out.. Could someone help me please!

The Controls I am installing are the Monarch Mark 1-A

Those pictures kinda helped but I still need to get the plastic plate below the steering column It is loose but just wont come out

Did you tilt the wheel all the way down?

Ya...The top left corner of the piece under the steering wheel is loose but just wont some out and theres nothing holding it in.

ya man its sweet and I oredered a suicide knob for my steering wheel

top as in the highest point up on the panel

try tilting the steering wheel all the way up

ya Ive tried both up and down idk why it just wont come out of there cause i need to get to the steering column to attach the controls

Hey, the dash in these beautiful creations are tricky. In order to remove the panel below the steering wheel you have to take off the front panel that houses the vents and surrounds your gauges.
to get that off you need to remove the top dash pad.
Step 1
remove driver side fuse panel
2) remove 6 plastic clips from the underneath of the dash pad. a thin piece of plastic six inches wide runs all the way across.
3) Remove screws holding dash pad and faceplate, I think there were six of these also. (you can't see them until the thin strip is removed in step 2)
4) remove dash pad, it is a little tricky getting it off the passenger air bag. Don't worry it won't hurt the bag. Then unsnap the and remove the face plate.
5) Then you should see the two screws that have been the cause of all this fun. remove these and the panel below the steering wheel will come right out.

I have had my dash off three times. These are the basic steps I have taken . Hope it helps!!!
