| You cut your finger, and you shook it because it hurt... then the blood went everywhere.
That's my guess.
But seriously, are you going to tell us what the hell it was?

figured someone would say something stupid, someone probobly after this
I was at my old ladys cousins apartments. It was 2:30 in the morning and im leaving to go home. I walk alone down the stairs and get to the bottom. I was walking around the building to walk to the street where my car was. As soon as i took 2 or 3 steps some black dude came up from behind me, put his arm around my neck and slammed me to the ground. I never got a chance, 1 black dude jumped me probobly cause im white im guessing. anyways he beats the fuck outta me for atleast 5 minutes. I've never been hit in the same spot so many times, theres a perfect rip on my shirt where he was grabbing my shirt and hitting me over and over. I managed to get up and go to the riv. I have a shank for really shanking somebody and i opened the door and he pushed me in the riv. Ive got a badass kick, im lame and play hackysack so i kicked this fucker as hard as i could in his fuckin chin. that was the end of that, he got a taste of a white boy death kick is
i had my keys and my 10 bucks after it was over

| One thing I've noticed about being in the city, you've got to keep your eyes open for fuckers all the time. They're always out there looking for victims.
Glad you're o.k.! | |

You can get them at Stuff Mart in AL. I dont know about where you live. Sorry to hear about this. Maybe you messed him up with that kick. I would

| Wow, glad to hear you got out of there okay. My personal weapon of self defense: I used to have it in the Riv's console but after being told it was considered a lethal weapon by a friend of my dad's I have it next to my bed. Now I have a big metal bat in the backseat for baseball | |

| Yep yep, I love my Maglite. I also have one next to my bed a size smaller than that one. I would buy one to put in the car but I feel like it's batteries will just run dead and I really don't need a flashlight that often. It does still make a great weapon even with dead batteries though. | |

| Because they are 4 big D cells, the batteries last as surprisingly long time. I think I've changed mine once in 5 years. _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^ | |

| Even after leaving it in the car in the cold and the heat? My Maglite holds 2 Ds and they're still the originals when I bought it I think but it hasn't been left in the car. | |

| I also carry a weapon in my car:
One of those souvenir baseball bats. I drilled a hole in the handle, and strung some boot string through it to use it as a billy club.
I've never needed it, but if I was in your situation, I would have used it for sure.
I also have a legal pocketknife, but I don't think I'd be able to use it in a pinch.
Glad you're okay man, he didn't win as far as I'm concerned.

I have it in the car about half the time. Having 4 batts really helps. I suppose when it gets really cold it would be a bit dim, but haven't noticed yet. Using good batteries (duracell) also makes a difference, imo. _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^

| Huh, I'll have to look into that. I have Rayovacs in mine and they're still giving it plenty of juice. I looked on ebay and you can actually get the 5 and 6 D cell lights for about $35 after buy it now price and shipping costs. Pretty sure I paid $35 for my 2D. Heh, only thing then would be where to put that giant light, I think it's as big as the baseball bat in my backseat. | |

Glad you're okay man, he didn't win as far as I'm concerned. If I had a made it back to the car and coulda got to the "weapon"... I have a .40 Glock with 16 rounds in my DD. In the truck I keep the 44mag Anaconda. I would sure hate to shoot someone but that would have unavoidable if the attacker was still coming after more. Bert

Wow, hope you never have to use that. If you do, I hope you are NOT inside the car when you fire. You could permanently mess up your hearing from doing that. _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^

| damn i keep a screwdriver inside the car and a pipe in the trunk for certain situations, ie a few weeks ago i was in uniform and was about to go out of town for some training when this guy was high off a pill and liquor and picked a fight with me. well with me, no fight is fair so i poked on him a few times with the screwdriver and knocked him unconscious with a punch to the temple. bastard got blood on my suede combat boots and uniform too. you should get a wooden bat and nail some nails through it and break that out in a jam. thatll get anyone off you | |

Glad you're okay man, he didn't win as far as I'm concerned. If you have a knife with the pocket clip that hangs on the inside of your pocket and can get one hand on it you can open it easily with you thumb. Its as fast as a switch blade, just not quite as long. If you cant get it open but can get it in your hand it is just as lethal. Just hold it in your palm with your fist closed and you will see waht I mean. Bert
