| ..and can you specify why?
the reason I'm asking is because when I dropped pulley sizes the m12? stud for the pulley puller broke off in my shaft and I still haven't removed it....

| Some people put one of those plastic push-plugs in the end of the shaft. For a while they came with MPS kits. It should not be wide open, and it should not have a bolt. The factory thing is a breather. It needs to be vented or you'll leak oil from an inner seal. The broken piece of a pulley puller stud is probably enough to prevent dirt from getting in there, and should not seal tight enough to blow a seal, so you should be alright. | |

My nephew bought a GTP without the blower belt. he drove it for about a week without it. I noticed it not having a belt and put one on for him. The supercharger ended up being ok. The 3800 S/C engine runs just like a regular 3800 without it. So, to answer your question, Yes, it can be ran without the S/C for a limited time until your part gets there. Even though it is frowned upon.
