| Hi all, I am a proud owner of a 98 Riviera. I have wanted one of these cars for years.
It seems that finding aftermarket performance parts is very challenging.
This car is my new daily driver, but I want to get the most performance out of it without giving up durability as this car has 98000 miles on it.
Hopefully I will get some good advice on what works and where to find parts.
If you live in the Panama City area of Florida and want to get together to share info or advice on this car, please feel free to contact me via email.

| congrats on the car man!!! I fell in love w the 9th gen Rivs the first time I saw one. Depending on the care takin before you got it, 98000 isn't so bad. Mines at 223000 and still kickin. Stick around here and study a little bit and ask qeustions when needed- u'll get some damn good advice. These guys are awesome- Good luck w your Riv!!!! | |

| welcome fellow Floridian! as chris said do some research on here and you will learn all kinds of stuff. performance parts for our engines are plentiful if you know where to look. the L67 motor is very common. however finding stuff specifically for the G-body and riviera are increasingly challenging as it gets older. _________________ 1996 with 254k miles, L32 4" FWI -> ported N* -> Ported Gen V w/3.0" Pulley, Stage 3 Phenolic I/C, ZZP FMHE, 1.84 RR, Headers and 3" pipe to mufflers, F-body brakes, and lowered on Eibachs. -RIP AMG C400 White on black. | Welcome! Always good to see more Florida Rivs!
There are plenty of performance parts for our engines , but most are listed as Regal/GTP or Bonneville parts.
Browse around and soak up as much knowledge as you can.

| Performance parts are relatively easy as long as you remember that you have a "supercharged L67 engine." Much of the performance stuff for the engine is listed as for the Pontiac Grand Prix. Front brakes on our cars share lots of parts with firebird/camaro of similar vintage.
What you WON'T find is trimparts, like aftermarket projector headlights, and such. This may or may not be an issue for you.

| Welcome man! Been to PCB 4 times or so for Spring Break Love that place. Busted my chin wide open, got 12 stitches and some broken teeth that had to be fixed from a jet ski incident at 50MPH | |
