| The First Ever ROA Regional is being hosted by your Coordinators from the southeastern states. Since the 2009 ROA International meet will be on the other coast in California, you now have an opportunity to attend one here on the east coast. The event begins on Friday with refreshments and hospitality at the Wingate Hotel in Savannah. On Saturday caravan out to Tybee Island for our Peer Judged Show and lunch. That afternoon there is time to tour historic Savannah and meet later back at the hotel for door prizes. Sunday morning after a complimentary breakfast the awards will be given out. A $20 member registration includes a guest, goodie bag, a dash plaque and entry into our Peer Judged Show. Commemorative T-shirts will be available. Registration forms can be downloaded from the ROA website www.rivowners.org under the Southeastern Regional link or can be obtained from your S/E coordinator or by contacting Keith Felderman, Georgia Coordinator at 770-630-0589, kfelderman@comcast.net. Anyone interested PM me and I'll send you a registratiom form. ...Last edit! Unlike my “Rivs at the Park”, membership in the Riviera Owners Association will be required to participate in this meet.

| I added some pretty important info to this so I figured I would bump it. Membership in the Riviera Owners Association will be required to participate in this meet. | |

| Meet turned out GREAT!46 members attended, parked 36 Rivs at The Crab Shack on Tybee Island outside of Savannah, GA, had a GREAT time! A few pictures as a teaser... I missed pictures of the Modified Class, there was a sharp '65, I'll try and find a picture of it and add it later... | |

A few more as promised ... Lots of late model Rivs but mine was probably the most modified with the chrome wheels, the burl wood dash kit, and the black chrome exhaust tips ... The Gray '98 Riv in this picture has 329,000 miles on it, he bought a new Buick to replace it but it keeps on going so he keeps on driving it! He did say he usually gets around 33MPG out of it too! A few '86 -'93's ... The Burgundy '84 Riv in this picture only has 24,000 miles on it. We did have several Convertibles show ... several in the '71-'78 class ... a couple more '71-'78's on the end ... A total of 4 in the '63-'65 class ... Another '71-'78 on the end, and 3 in the '66-'70 class ... Like I said, I didn't get any of the modified class but will look for some and post them soon ... there were 3 in it, a white '64 mild mod, a black/tan '65 ... sharp Riv, and an '84 conv that had some chrome under the hood ... pics when I get them ...

It was a nice day, low to mid 80's and mostly sunny! Not really anyone there with the performance bug for the late models.
