| I have seen the dark hard plastic ones on some camaros and thunderbirds especially and they look good. The first thing I would do is scrape off the big white GTO logo on them tho. | |

Do they even make light covers any longer? X-Pel is based upon a thick, but pliable film (3M is the better of the films to buy) that actually takes the form of hte headlight itself. Initially, they were developed to road debris impact and save the light len. Now, they have added in the tints. In California, they are bringing back the road stop inspections and will ticket you for tinted lighting of any sorts.

Yes. I reside in a dense urban area, and too many vehicles are altered way beyond what they should be. It is a hazard when driving as we either have those with billion watt HIDs, or so heavily tinted, front and rear, that they are hard to see. Gary, Indiana? As a service brat I once grew up with a family from Gary, Indiana.

| Today, as i read thru my preferred motor magazine. I came across this. WWW.Lamin-X.com They sell headlight protection and cosmetic releive. Basically it's a headlight tint. Anyhow, i called because they don't have Buicks lised on their site. It was right, they don't sell anything precut for Buicks. (no respect) The guy tells me if i get him Width X Height, they can sell me 2 sheets and i can cut it to the shape of he lens. I relally like how these look. So i bought it. It's 52$ shipped. For 2 sheets (7" x 24") I measeured 6 x 23, they guy says, "To be safe, get an inch more" As soon as i get it in the mail, i'll put it on and post pics. I got the "Optic-Blue" in case ya'll wondering. | |

| No, the car was in a minor accident in 2001 when they replaced the headlights and bumper. The actual headlights look good. No fading or any of that nasty yellow crap. The corner lights.... i gotta polish those.
I think you're referring to the little things that stick out on the lights. Mine doesn't have those. in case you're wondering.

| actualy i was refering to the lights themselves. you should upgrade to some silverstars or something brighter to offset the darker lense. it should look pretty good _________________ 1996 with 254k miles, L32 4" FWI -> ported N* -> Ported Gen V w/3.0" Pulley, Stage 3 Phenolic I/C, ZZP FMHE, 1.84 RR, Headers and 3" pipe to mufflers, F-body brakes, and lowered on Eibachs. -RIP AMG C400 White on black.
