| What car scent have you purchased for your car?
I have classic 'new car smell' drk blue tree hanger. Brings me back to the JEEP days, it always smelled like that drk blue tree.
I preffer Yankee Candle's Leather scent for cars. I think it's a more believable scent for a new car reaction.
I'm afraid of fruity scents, think it'll turn my stomach | |

| im in and out of alot of cars all day, working at a car wash, and i noticed mercedes benz always smell the best to me. it doesnt matter how old or new they are (tho new is stronger) the leather they use or something in the benz has a great smell to it. i have never bought an air freshener for the riv, mine doesnt smell bad and i just like the natural smell of leather and leather conditioner. but some people have awful smeeling cars! smokers, people who sweat alot and cars with cloth seats tend to be the worst. some of those air fresheners people use are too strong and overpowering when you first get in i do recomend the spray fresheners like febrez to get rid of odors, but after a few hours the scent is gone(good and bad usually) _________________ 1996 with 254k miles, L32 4" FWI -> ported N* -> Ported Gen V w/3.0" Pulley, Stage 3 Phenolic I/C, ZZP FMHE, 1.84 RR, Headers and 3" pipe to mufflers, F-body brakes, and lowered on Eibachs. -RIP AMG C400 White on black. | I don't use air fresheners or scents. The only thing I use that adds a smell is Meguiar's Gold Class rich leather spray. _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^ | |

| I don't use air fresheners or scents either. I just clean it often to prevent smells from forming. _________________ 1998 Supercharged Riviera - Custom CAI, Alpine spx-13ref, Infinity 6x9's, Alpine 4 Channel Amp, Kicker KX3, Silverstars, STB, Hawk Brake Pads, Monroe Air Shocks, KYB GR2

| In my opinion the best smell of all is no smell. Well maybe besides leather When I bought my car it smelled bad of cigarette smoke - well it was a smoker's car. I ended up using some of the Ozium Glycol-ized Air Sanitizer that you can find in the automotive department at Wal-Mart (sorry). It doesn't have a pleasant smell at first, but if you let it steep in the car overnight, the smell disappears, and so do any other odors! You might want to give this a try sometime, duffy... http://www.walgreens.com/store/product.jsp?id=prod1098956&CATID=100466&skuid=sku1098946&V=G&ec=frgl_649153 | |

| I've heard that leaving a sliced apple in the car overnight will pull odors from the air. Never tried it, though. _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^ | |
