| Toronado, Eldorado and Riviera, I've always loved the GM personal luxury cars. Started with a gray on black on black '79 Toronado , a '79 pussy blue on blue Eldorado and finally the dark red/burgundy on beige '95 Riv, bought in 2003 with 60,000 miles. Car was near mint back then. A few washes later and the bad trunk paint showed up. A few repairs a year, but she still runs strong. Just posted my low coolant dilemma on the appropriate forum,
Luv you guys....

| I almost forgot about the '75 Riv we had for a while. White on white on white. That was a gorgeous interior, but as I remember rear wheel drive and 400+ motor. Not too many of those around. | |

| Welcome! Nice lineup of cars you've owned, for sure. That 75 Riv would have had a 455 from the factory. The Buick 400 was only 67-69 IIRC. | |

| I have owned a 66 and 70 Toronado in the past. Have two Rivs now. Do not anticipate ever owning Eldorado, except if I hit the lotto. Then I may buy a 70-something convertible Eldo Land Yacht. | |

| Welcome to the forum, calack! I had a two tone blue '79' eldorado too, till my daughter put it in a ditch. She was shaken but not hurt to bad. It was my first luxury coupe, till i got hooked on Rivieras. IMG]https://2img.net/h/i151.photobucket.com/albums/s142/jimmyriv/79Eldorado.jpg[/IMG] | |
