| OK for those that know, the Riviera was on life support and I didnt pull the plug. Fortunately I got another motor for it, but the motor has the front mounts, you know, from the Grand Prixs? They have the ones that go to the front of the car, while ours are side mounts. Is there any way I can still use this motor before I have it pulled from the car and mine taken out? | |

| The bolts should all be in place for the Riv's motor mounts to bolt onto the GP's block. They are the same blocks with the same bolt holes. | |

| just follow-the-wiring-harness, the ECU is hard to miss.
Would be nice if Ryan or Randall would coment, they've done engine swaps as I recall.

| I think the grand prixs and w-bodies have their pcms in the engine bay under the airbox IIRC. | |

| ok i have a question. the guy said its best to take the things from the original car, which would be the riviera, but as far as the injectors and alernator and ecm go, i can remove those right? im using the ones off the new motor from the grand prix since im taking the computer with it and all | |

| The alternator is mounted differently, and probably doesn't have as many amps as the Riv's alternator. You want the L67's injectors as well, and I'm not sure what you need to do computer-wise. | |
