| Currently My SSEi is parked because the Transmission needs to be replaced. I have decided since I am replacing the transmission I might as well do some upgrades . And a few other things here is my list.
Engine:
MPS Ported and Polished SC LS1 TB S1X Cam with 105 springs Power Log and Rear ported Manifold 3" downpipe
Transmission:
DIY shift kit 3.29 gears ( I am cheating I am using a N/A trans with HD Diff.) ATI 2750 Stall torque converter.
Anyone have any last minute suggestions or anything else I should do while I'm in there? No I am not doing headers or pulling the heads off are not in the time frame as I have to do all this during the weekend at the shop I work at.
Thanks in advance. | |

| id throw rockers for sure on there, it might be the equivelent of having headers...rockers and a cam would move enough air to drop pulleys. and if you P&P the supercharger, then buy a ported LIM aswell....that is if you have the desire to go that far. | |

| Why not throw some GXP drive chains in there? They're supposedly good to low 12s and theres a guy on regalgs.org selling a set for 40 bucks+shipping.
Otherwise sounds like a good build.

| Blake, rockers + cam = valve to piston clearance issues.
i dont see a way to tune in your list, but provided you have a plan, it should run nice!

| S1x cam over rockers anyday, with those upgrades you should get headers. Imo rear plogs are a waste of money, there not that restrictive. | |

| I already have the Higher stall torque converter from my last build. The Plog and Rear manifold are because I want a more OEM look. At least till I get the turbo kit. Then I will need the manifolds anyway. | |

then why spend all that money on the ported SC, TB and MPS? It just money you could put toward your turbo build.

| The only thing I purchased extra was the LS1 TB and adapter, The rest I had. Once I have enough for the turbo kit I will resell the other stuff. | |

| Just to throw some stuff out there...
remove heat shields and wrap exhaust parts with header wrap get the aluminum LIM gaskets (no brainier I'm sure) blower inlet opened up to 75.5 right? valve cover breather or other modification to use the TB (if the adapter blocks off that inlet like mine did) dex6 for the transaxle or other synthetic egr delete

agreed. They like to crack from not having breathing room because, the metal used on plogs is pretty thin.
