| My car has started to "groan" when turning right. Left turn is fine. Any ideas? | |

| I would recommend buying a single good quality part (Timken, USA made) than a pair of cheap ones that could fail again soon. You do not need to replace the other side if it's not bad. Could last you many thousands of miles.

Be sure to check the hub (or have it checked) before replacing it. If that wheel feels looser than the others, it's likely the problem. _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^

| Sears told me I need both hub bearings replaced and the left front inner tie rod end. I noticed on Rockauto.com they have either internal or external threads on the tie rod housing end. Which one do I need to get? The rivi is a 97' if that helps. | |

| The hob bearings are not so bad to replace - probably the best bet is to get a manual and a couple hubs and do it yourself - if you search this editboard you will find a write up that shows how.
As for the inner tie rod end, if Sears will replace the inner for you, let them do it. Because the car will ahve to be aligned anyway when the rack is pulled apart.

| Someone else will have to answer the inner tie rod question; I don't know.
As for the hubs, 'splurge' and get OEM hubs from gmpartsdirect.com or RockAuto. The SKF and Timken bearings are the only way to go.
