Trouble in Paradise.... Empty
PostSubject: Trouble in Paradise....   Trouble in Paradise.... EmptySun Mar 25, 2007 8:12 pm

I've had to fill 2 of my tires with air everyday since I arrived here in Zona. If I dont. they will be 15 psi by the end of the night. Now there is A LOT of construction going on with the possibility of carpenters nails being strewn across the road....but I checked for punctures and that wasn't the case. Somehow, 2 of my rims cracked along the inside wall from my trip and are now trashed. cry Its a shame, I liked them. But...this gives me an opportunity to pick out some nice shiny 18's that I've always wanted to buy. thumbsup My car color is light adriatic blue so no black rims for me. Does anyone have any suggestions? There are sooo many styles, that I become overwhelmed. help Post up some pics of wheels you like.....

When I saw this style in a magazine I thought it was the coolest eye-catching design I've seen yet.

Devin style
Trouble in Paradise.... 827g
www.rollinonchrome.de
imagine how the light would look an these as your going down the road. Awesome effect.

It might not be everyone's taste for the Riv but I'd still would grab them for a Mustang or something of that caliber.

The Devin style is really the only one that sticks in my mind and will remain there until I act on it. I'd love to see it on a car as an example to really get a taste for it.

....Then there was another set. I don't have any info on them but I saw some awesome wheels custom on an Eclipse. You've seen 3-spoke designs but have you ever layed your eyes on a 2-spoke. They were freakin awesome, definitly Riv-worthy, if you can find'em.

the ones I "considered" for the Riv when I was give'n her a makeover were these

Trouble in Paradise.... 5592_12

I thought they'd look awesome on the Riv....but, I didn't want to be a total poser. I still like them but it's porblably best to leave them to the Viper

Wow those wheels look real nice Matt. Thanks for the idea. I have searched through craigslist and have found a couple nice ones really cheap with the tires included. The only thing is will the seller hold up his end of the bargain....**Warning** print out anything you may buy on that site, because when you meet up with the seller (like I did once for nut-drivers) he charged me an additional 5 dollars and told me I saw the wrong amount....theivin' bas-tard gripe

i dont like the design of the center of them no its almost as if they tried to do too much with them; they are like 1 part dub's(center star and wide lip),one part ricer(fake bolt pattern around the lip), and part knock off of good wheels(the spoke layout)

ride (gay) and too much. You could get 22"s for that much with good tires. As matt said it's like a mixture of 3 types of wheels slapped together by lazy designers.

Keep looking, you've got the right idea with craigslist. Look for oem Caddy wheels too, some of the chrome STS wheels would look good on the riv. Even check the car classifieds and look for FWD GM cars that are being sold with aftermarket wheels and ask them if they'd be willing to sell either the oem's or the aftermarket ones. They should be more than willing. Good luck. thumbsup
