| Some MODS I'm working on for my car and mannys gtp The genV and Aeromotive rails are going to go on my car. The zzp rails are going on his. I'm getting Aeromotive's part#13109 regulator and the exact same lines and stuff PRJ uses for their rails. | |

I have a gen3 thats a piece of artwork by chris kemp on the car now. Chris moved and is unable to port blowers now so unless I find a better option, I'm probably going to send my genV to reptile brian to get the oulet expanded for the one day coming IC and get the inlet polished. I got the blower from a parts/sound place less than 15min away from me through ebay for $290 picked up. The zzp rails I met up with Tommy Glover and bought them from him for $330 for Manny. I got the custom genV EVAP adaptor plate pictured at the top right from the same guy. He's got a bunch of stuff for sale in the GP forums. The Aeromotive rails I got from work as well as the reg, not pictured.

What does the custom EVAP Adapter plate do and is it something I'm going to have to consider before installing my Gen 5. Could you explain what it does for the proper operation of the SC and EVAP system. Thanks, Rick

Thanks, Rick That "custom adapter plate confuses the hell out of me.. it looks like it would be what you hook the PCV vacuum line up to.. If i were you rick i'd just keep the Evap if your gen v already has it..

I'm confused and I just got done looking under the hood and at the Gen 5 SC. umm ya on the Gen V the evap plugs/bolts into the inlet.. if you run the Evap you must run the N* TB upside down too... that black plastic thing with the vacuum port in cody's pic.. thats the evap..

| The plate is not too important. It gives you a a slightly neater path to use the original L67 evap components. You just run the evap hose from the valve to it, that originally went to the L67 throttle body.
I'm using it primarily for aesthetic purposes. I deleted my evap so I have no use for any of those parts. I'm using it as a blockoff plate.

| The Aeromotive rails are not available anymore from what I can tell. They weren't there very long so I wouldn't be surprised if I bought the one and only keystone had in stock and after checking over a few days, I don't see any more coming in. I wouldn't be surprised if Aeromotive discontinued them. The 3800 is probably not a worthwhile market for them. I might give them a call monday out of curiosity. | |

| I'm getting a full size IC probably when I get my tax returns. That SSIC wouldn't work so well with genV even if I did use it. And yea Manuel has an aftermarket hood on his 01 gtp and this ss looks like is just going to fit, and that's with the rails running underneath. | |
