| did you just soak them in the acetone? i cant see why it would kill the injectors since people put it in their gas tank. are you sure you have them all plugged in? installed new o-rings? _________________ 1996 with 254k miles, L32 4" FWI -> ported N* -> Ported Gen V w/3.0" Pulley, Stage 3 Phenolic I/C, ZZP FMHE, 1.84 RR, Headers and 3" pipe to mufflers, F-body brakes, and lowered on Eibachs. -RIP AMG C400 White on black. | yeah i soaked em. according to a buddy of mine, acetone is very corosive to plastics and rubbers. i picked up a set of six injectors and atached fuel rail and fuel pressure regulator from a local junker for $ 86 bucks. not bad! ill instal em in a little while. i probably damaged, with acetone the plastic filter baskets with undiluted acetone. live and learn. ill send the damaged injectors, after i remove the filter baskets and see how they run without em,to be inspected. if they are beyond repair they will send em back with no inspection fee. | |
