Hi there. The short answer for that is a pulley drop , however pulleys need other mods to work safely. Ported manifold and a 3" downpipe , a zzp powerlog , or idealy headers will allow you to drop to a 3.4" pulley , which will give you plenty of additional torque. I'd start off with building a fenderwell intake or FWI like this one here , and from then decide what you wanna do from there. To me , the best mods are the ones that build power in the higher end of the powerband , because thats where our cars fall short. If you want a car with loads of torque , the best mods would be headers, intake and intercooler with a 3.0" pulley.

| SC Pulley drops raise boost and therefore give more torque in the lower RPMs. An intercooler is the king of low-end torque, because it lets you run a really small SC pulley.
If you'd rather make more torque in the higher RPM band, a set of high-lift rockers or a cam would work best with some intake and exhaust mods as well. Engine air flow is your friend. _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^

| A lot of people try to drop pulley sizes right off the bat. I'll tell you up front that I don't recommend it anymore, almost every pulley drop results in additional heat and knock because the air doesn't have enough space to get out. I'd recommend some high lift rockers (1.9:1) or a larger downpipe as a nice starting place.
The S/C 3800 has a lot of potential, so before you buy any parts, I'd recommend figuring out just how much 'more' you want to get out of it.
