I'm not sure what I am going to do. I am leaving it the way it is until the interior is finished though.

I might order these too, but I'd like to see what the car looks like from a few angles before I decide. But I love this so far, keep up the extraordinary work!

sqrivi: not trying to hijack your thread, but the link you posted for the exhaust tips didn't work for me. Can you give a P/N or maybe the inlet size and the size of the outlet oval? Thanks.

They are "pypes EVT29" 2.5" inlet and 6x3" oval. They also make the same tip with a 3" inlet. EVT28.

OK. I'm committed to buying the bumpers. unfortunately i can only buy 1 at a time. but the front that ill buy first is going to look killer when the car goes into paint.

Here is the rear bumper with the exhaust holes all cleaned up.




Rear bumper primed, blocked, and installed on the car for the last time. It is loose at the moment to aid in painting the bumper. It will be adjusted and tightened up later.

I deffinatlety want in on the group but what u did for the looks of this car is amazing and i think u do spectacular work and i was wondering what the prices are for both?

The price is $600ea. 8-10 people for a group buy would reduce the cost to $500ea or $1000 for the front and rear together.

Hopefully starting primer this week. Then block the car. Realign the passenger door and paint. It shouldn't be long now.

I forget, it's been so long, what exterior paint color are you planning on.?

Lexus black sapphire pearl.

Here is a cobra body painted in that color.

Holy Crap, that's sweet. I love the Blue, even though it's called Black.
That pearl looks great under the night lights in the party district with neon on all around it.

Now I REALLY can't wait to see it. Who's the MFG of the paint.

I don't remember the MFG. I will have to check the cans. As far as the paint being blue but called black, the paint is black with a blue pearl then a blue candy over that.

Is that Cobra some of your buddy Tommy's work.?
Do you know if that is a Factory 5 aftermarket Cobra Body.?

I don't know anything about the cobra itself, I just found that picture while researching the paint color.

if i order the front and rears can he cut the exhaust tip openings the same as his are as well?

I would imagine it would be a better idea to have the bumper on the car and rework the exhaust at the same time, but give Tommy a shout and see what can be done.

i like the color you chose but have you ever considered a 2 tone paint scheme? in my eyes the riv is screaming for a 2 tone on account of the body lines. more than any other car that i know of.
i am going to be sending out a deposit this week for the front,how will the new bumper attach to the car?

The front bumper attaches the same way as the stock, including the stock hardware. The only difference is the two brackets that Tommy made to make everything more solid, seen here.

so the metal beam is still behindinside the bumper or is it now "make sure you dont hit anything"

The stock beam behind both bumpers is only rated for 5mph so "make sure you don't hit anything anyway". The front beam will be replaced with a straight or straight-ish rectangular tube mounted in the stock location with stock hardware. The rear is easier to handle, just shorted the mounting bracket and bolt the stock beam back in place.
