| Tommy is blocking the car. Paint is eminent!! Here is the latest........ The front bumper is attached for the last time.......... Notice all the little dents that Tommy has worked out. I didn't even know those were there. The car is going to be crazy straight when he is done. There is a chance the car is done next week. Everyone keep your fingers crossed. I will post pics of the paint process as it goes. | |

| Here is the progress on the paint....... This is the edges of the trunk with the base color, candy blue and clear. I will be making a panel for the trunk lid so no need to paint the entire lid. Now the car is masked off to paint the door jams and under the hood. The doors ready for paint. Here is everything with the first coat of base color. One coat on the bottom of the hood as well.

| Awesome! I love the disassembly to get the jambs and inner edges of the panels. | |

| what are you going to do with the front bumper sidemarker sockets? I see no side marker is in place. And what about the "body line" that is still on the doors? I see that none of that is on the front or rear bumpers. Sorry if this has already been discussed, but I would like to know. | |

| The front bumper side marker sockets have been removed and the wires terminated. The corner light "next to the headlight" is now the parking/turn signal. I also added the turn signal lights to the side door mirrors. I thought about removing the body line on the doors as well, but decided it looked better with it in place since that line stopped just before the wheel wells. I always felt like the lines on the bumpers looked like an afterthought in order to try to tie the bumper into the rest of the car. Also the rear bumper is also about 4" taller than the stock. Here is a before and after......Just for comparison. In this shot the car is on jack stands so the tires look kind of funny. | |

| Gotcha. I was going to get the front fascia as my car got hit in my parking lot and needs to be replaced.....They are going to start working on it Monday morning. However, looking at your project as a whole, I think just adding the front fascia without adding the rear at the same time would look funny, as that body line would simply stop at the fenders......it would be "missing" something, know what I mean? Looks like I'll have to think about it and possibly get front AND rear.....kit looks awesome, can't wait to see it finished. | |

| The door jams and under the hood now have the blue candy and clear. The doors and hood are back on the car. Just have a couple of things to do before paint. Now it is time to tint the rear lights. First the marker lights. Thats better Now for the tail light. Much better. | |

| Clear coat with some black paint mixed in, then a few coats of clear. Should also prevent the lights (corner lights in front) from turning yellow. | |

| The rear just bolts on as well, also using the stock hardware. The chrome trim also attaches with the stock clips. Although I would recommend getting new clips. Just have to modify the impact beam and what ever you want to do with the exhaust. | |

5mph so "make sure you don't hit anything anyway". The front beam will be replaced with a straight or straight-ish rectangular tube mounted in the stock location with stock hardware. The rear is easier to handle, just shorted the mounting bracket and bolt the stock beam back in place.

I'm curious how someone can get my identity this way. And how is it different if it's posted on a forum like this. I'm not being facetious, I'm actually ignorant as to how this can happen.

| Rick, it's advice I've always heard, without seeing a reason attached to it, but a quick Google search turned up this site - Link
I would assume your license puts you at risk in the real world as well, but maybe if you start putting it in front of savvy computer users on the net, the risk of theft goes up? Why take the chance?

| That's too easy, they offered 50% off for three years of unlimited access to any information on a person that has a license plate. That is 50% of 29.00 for 3 years. Absolutely should be illegal. How is it that each State's Motor vehicle Dept is selling this info to anyone with a checkbook or credit card.? | |

| Is it any different than calling a private investigator to look up the plate number for you? Is that illegal?
This is not a direct link to the BMV, it's a 3rd party who's collected the data and now is offering it for sale. Like many services on the web, a compiled database can replace lots of legwork, reducing the cost of the service in the end. _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^
