| Just got back from a ride testing the freshly gutted airbox and K&N on my '97 sc, very noticeable! I have the itch I think! Next on the list: 3" DP, 3.6" SC pulley, and possibly PEMs if i can manage it in the base's pay-per-hour shop. the main thing is a lack of a workspace other than that shop. Any thoughts? Sorry for the Newbishness of the question, just never owned a car this...mod-able lol | |

| Just be sure your scanning for KR (Knock Retard) after dropping SC pulley size. | |

| Get an MPS (Multi-Pulley System) with your 3.6, that way when you have some other mods and are ready to drop pulley sizes again it's just a bolt-on instead of needing a pulley puller. | |

| Welcome! Your mod list seems a great place to start , but i might i suggest adding a FWI? Its probably a nominal increase in power over gutted airbox but the sound is amazing. Be warned though...my plan originally was a gutted airbox , 3.4" pulley and downpipe....and well that and a few mods later and i'm still not done. It gets addicting! | |

| Welcome NavyRivvy1989. As others have said, it's only a matter of time before you start doing other mods. I originally was only going to drop one heat range in spark plugs, new wires, gut the factory air box, go to a 180*F thermostat, and replace the completely worn out factory front struts. ......Well, that didn't last too long.
Cheers. | |
